A very short video on Inkling bringing pre-clinical medical books to
the iPad:

I'm not sure how much this is a promotional video, or if the books
displayed are actually the titles that are going to be sold. I froze
the video at 19 seconds, and was able to determine these titles:
Hole's human anatomy and physiology
McGraw-Hill 2009
Undergraduate or allied health textbook
Essentials of understanding biology
McGraw-Hill 2010
Undergraduate level
The science of psychology: an appreciative view
McGraw-Hill 2010
Undergraduate level
Biology by Peter Raven
McGraw-Hill 2010
Undergraduate level
Anatomy and physiology: the unity of form and function
McGraw-Hill 2011
Undergraduate level
Ganong's review of medical physiology
Lange (McGraw-Hill) 2009
Medical school level
Essential clinical anatomy
LWW 2010
Medical school level
Lippincott's illustrated reviews: biochemistry
LWW 2010
Medical school level
Bates' guide to physical examination and history taking
LWW 2008
Medical school/nursing school level
I'm not sure how this will be packaged: is it bundled, or are
individual titles available? I don't see many medical students being
eager to get all of the undergraduate level texts. My understanding is
that sales are to individuals only.
The CEO of Inkling, Matt MacInnis, is coming to visit Weill Cornell in
a couple of weeks, and I'm hoping to be able to attend a meeting with
him. I'll keep the group informed of what I find out.
