[Mla-cds] Question/CHAT: Public Use Data Files

Sorry for cross posting

Wondering how other libraries are cataloging or providing access to
Public Use Data Files such as Medicare Claims Public Use Files.
http://www.cms.gov/BSAPUFS/

Do you treat them as a database (when they are really a file) or do you
not put them in the catalog but put them in a portal with other free
Data sources?

I mean technically in my mind they are a file and would be cataloged
that way.  I guess my question how to make it accessible beyond that so
researchers know these data sources are available?

If you are managing this type of data in a Portal or one a specific
webpage outside of the catalog or just listing in a database list please
send me a URL.

I will summarize if there is interest.
